Sham Trek

9 Nights / 10 Days

The lower part of Ladakh is known as Sham region. This area is rich in the production of apricot and apples.

This trek is known as baby trek, most of the villages are connected with motorable roads and beautiful landscapes.

Day 1: Delhi / Leh - Arrival and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Sightseeing Shey, Thiksey and Hemis monastery.
Day 3: Drive to Likir, 90 minutes drive from Leh, visit Likir monastery and trek to Yangthang, 4-5 hrs trek. Overnite camping at Yangthang.
Day 4: Yangthang / Hemis Shukpachen - 5-6 hrs trek via visiting Rinzong.
Day 5: Hemis Shukpachen / Temisgam - 4-5 hrs trek. Overnite at camp.
Day 6: Drive to Lamayuru monastery, visit Lamayuru monastery and drive back to Leh via visiting Alchi monastery. Overnite hotel in Leh.
Day 7: Leisure Leh.
Day 8: Leh / Delhi - Transfer to hotel YMCA in Delhi.
Day 9: Delhi / Agra / Delhi - 3 hrs drive. Visit Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikiri and drive back to Delhi.
Day 10: Departure
